Biwa pearls are unusually shaped cultured pearls that come from the freshwater mussels found in Lake Biwa, Japan.
Biwa pearls are said to have the power to purify the thoughts that go through a person’s mind and body. And are also believed to enhance one’s awareness and help them express their highest selves. All that from a pearl!
The silvery Biwa pearl hangs on a sterling silver bail and chain.
The necklace comes packaged on a picture of the Sanibel Lighthouse, a beautiful spot.
The Biwa pearl is approximately 17 mm long.
The long pearl looks nicest hanging on a 20” or 22” chain. But if you prefer an 18” chain, that length is also available.
Please choose the length of the chain.
